I think the Internet and the computer is some sort of curse on Mankind. Honest. Teachers seem to have forgotten that travelling takes time even in teeny Singapore, and that we all have a laptop with perfectly good Internet connection. Why else would they assign us so much work to be completed as a Word document? The most irritating of all ought to be Project work, where every icky piece of graded assignment and research material has to be typewritten. I understand that typed assignments are way easier to grade, but have they considered how much trouble they cause the students? All the formatting, the tinkering with the words, resizing, the actual typing... If I wanted to write an essay, I could do it anywhere, at anytime, as long as I have stationary, yet, if they want it printed out, electricity, printer ink... Its just a whole lot of nitty gritty details which make computer documents a bane of school existence.
Was originally considering cosplaying for the College's Open Day. However, due to the lack of participants, the tight schedule, the ridiculous idea of of scripting a skit of Alternate Universe, the sheer difficulty of getting 6 costumes, the lack of experience by those involved... I doubt the show can go on. So now I'm hovering between duty and laziness, at the same time contemplating cosplaying at the end of the year, if I'm not in China for the immersion programme, MAR. Yup. Not sure who to do. I don't really want to wear contacts. Its either Candice the Knight from Chess No Koma or Aqua, also a Chess. Not much of a choice. Candice would be more fun, although it pretty... Umm... revealing, while Aqua is modest enough to make me look like a tent. I'm not really the cutesy kind, and I'm not too bimbotic, so I have no idea how to behave in a convincing manner. Urgh. Although I must admit that I like Candice's beret and eye patch. How am I suppose to get the boots, gloves, and the one sided stockings? I hope can find in Hong Kong some of these, at lower prices. I suppose I could tailor the costume, but it would definitely cost a small fortune.
Well. Back to work on GP VA.
Sudden successive flights of bullets streak the silence...
