Hyde is a really amazing singer. One minute he sounds decidedly annoying, the next, he sounds heavenly. Forget the falsetto, I know he is suppose to be great at that, but I way prefer his normal singing voice. Sounds hotter. Haha. L'Arc~en~Ciel has a very psychedelic quality. I guess its because they were targeted at the 1990s teens, a good decade ago, but, as their music is actually rather bearable for a non-classic band, I must applaude their abaility to remain relevant.
I'm having problems with Tyki's trenchcoat (?). I guess its really too 1800s for commercial stores to stock it. Urgh. There is also the probability of melting form the heat. Why? Simple. Other than the white shirt, Tyki wears a black vest under the trenchcoat, with a white cravat topping it all off. Unless it rains, which will only serve to get my shoes and edges of the long pants wet, or you somehow conjure up a magical way for me to move from my house to location in full air-con and on top of that, the location of the photoshoot is also air-conditioned. Otherwise, I can forsee myself sweating buckets and soaking the entire costume. Argh. Icky. Gross. Unglamourous. Did I mention that there is also a black top hat to go with it? And that the trenchcoat and pants are also black? Another slight miracle would be the maintainence of Tyki's impeccable gentleman-ly aura when I'm hot, tired and haggard-looking. Wow. Loads of miracles need to be happening concurrently...
Kaen, I want Atobe's Mitai no Arukee. Like now! And please look for Torasoru no Torikago.
I admit that what I observed is true. While Seigaku songs are meant to be funny, endearing and plain romanticizing of each other, think Arigatou; Hyotei songs tend to be about the glory of victory, perserverance, determintaion, will power... Perfect for the cults like my school's canoe team. Yup. Except that they are much hotter in Hyotei. Serious. Anyway, Hyotei songs give you the singing-in-pouring-rain-staring-at-the-sky-maybe-crying-pulling-at-shirt kinf of feeling. I can so totally picture Atobe doing it. It fits in perfectly with his slightly suffering, misunderstood, aiming -for-greater-glory image. That, coupled with his dive attitude makes him a... misunderstood diva? Huh? Shall analyse this another day. Meanwhile, I am content to know that he is the President of the Student Council in Hyotei (duh), Libra, 1.73m, 62kg and shortens his school shirt to be able to show off his abs when he raises his arm to perform his trademark snap. I'm serious.
Okay. My fingers are sort of on strike today. Typing really very slowly. Shall leave now. Here's Kaen labour of love for all to enjoy. Quite nice if I say so myself.

"I can only please one person a day, I'm sorry my dear, but today is not your day, tommorrow is not looking good either."
